Steve Bates
With decades of success in the construction and development industry, Steve Bates has positioned Laki as a pioneer in advanced structural systems serving residential, commercial, and medical markets, with expanding applications in sustainable hydroponic / aquaponic farming, using Laki’s patented technologies. He has also developed breakthroughs in waste-to-energy, CO₂ power generation, and scalable graphene production. As a successful entrepreneur and builder, Steve Bates is driving Laki Technologies toward a future where construction and clean technology converge to create lasting global impact.

Dee Bates
As COO of Laki Technologies, Dee Bates manufactures innovative structural solutions and holds patents related to these technologies. He is a prominent local figure in construction and building materials, partnered with his brother Steve, for 50+ years. They have overseen residential new construction, commercial developments like retail centers and office buildings, and medical facilities, and expanded subdivisions into viable commercial developments, using traditional materials in tandem with modern, energy-efficient patented building materials and systems.

Warren Rohrer
Warren is a seasoned executive with over 40 years of leadership in construction, business management, and large-scale operations. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, has founded and successfully operated construction firms in Arizona, Colorado, and Utah, and managed annual budgets exceeding $100 million. He launched a new residential division at Jacobsen Construction, expanding the company’s market presence and driving growth. He is a results-driven leader with proven financial discipline and operational expertise.

Melyn C. Campbell
Melyn Campbell has had an extensive career in the financial sector including executive roles that include CEO, Co-Founder, and Board Member. She has a finance degree, along with post graduate credentials in accounting, economics, and statistics. She has served in notable positions at leading financial institutions such as Merrill Lynch, Smith Barney, and Zions First National Bank. Melyn is uniquely qualified to oversee VGA’s operations, its fintech ecosystem, and also chair Laki’s advisory board for their shared social impact mission.

Dr Gregory H. Jackson
Greg Jackson, was formerly the COO for the Asian based subsidiary bank that merged with Bank of America and had significant operations in 16 Pacific Rim countries. He now practises as a social entrepreneur and finance expert focused on leveraging technology and innovative finance to expand education in Indigenous and developing communities. He was a university educator, NGO board member, and advisor to tech companies. Greg holds a Ph.D. in Education, an MBA, a BA in History and Chinese, and is fluent in Mandarin, conversant in Japanese and Cantonese, and speaks Spanish.
