GroEco:
Laki’s Revolutionary Technology
to Feed the World
GroEco offers Environmentally Controlled Agriculture (ECA) systems. We are not only attacking the increased demand for fresh, quality produce in the US retail sector. Laki’s vision is to combat world hunger by providing a better, faster, and more sustainable way to grow food.
These self-contained systems use proprietary hydroponics/aquaponics technology and Laki’s revolutionary, low-cost structural systems. The GroEco “grow houses” and “grow farms” are designed to be self-contained with zero net water and power dependency, and they can grow virtually anything in any climate, even in areas where agriculture is otherwise difficult or impossible.
Sustainable, Organic Food Anywhere, Zero Dependency
GroEco’s Revolutionary Construction Systems from Laki are the foundational key to achieving sustainable food production anywhere. These low-cost, modular structures—built with steel and high-density GPS or EPS foam—are engineered for simple assembly by unskilled labor and are easily transportable to remote locations.
They provide extreme resilience, capable of withstanding extreme winds and earthquake forces high on the Richter scale, ensuring durability against almost any conceivable natural disaster. Critically, the structures feature extremely high R-value insulation, and are hermetically sealed, creating an incredibly energy-efficient, contaminant-free environment.
This extraordinary efficiency enables the system’s promise of zero net water and power dependency, making high-production, organic agriculture viable and sustainable in any location, year-round. GroEco is a “now” product, however, testing and refining for large-scale market demand in both the Global North (retail consumer goods) and Global South (hunger remediation) is part of “Laki Phase 2,” and is fully dependent on Laki’s expanded manufacturing capacity.
